This is the mandatory core course.  The topics include common real estate license law violations presented in an interactive format. Students will leave the class having reviewed license law and developing methods to appropriately deal with situations in a legal and ethical fashion.

 

2.  ¨ CEE 2090 Residential Real Estate Auctions $25.00 10:30-12:30 pm

 

Introduction to the sale of residential real estate using the auction method to protect the public interest by reducing time on market, eliminating contingencies and price negotiations, reducing seller upfront costs, maximizing the sale price and offering more options to buyers and sellers.  Learn to help the public accelerate short sales, to settle estates promptly, and to end mortgage & extended tax payments by selling real estate at auction.

 

3.  ¨ CEE 2091 Divide & Close – Sell Land by Multi-Parcel Auctions $50.00 1:30- 5:30 pm

 

Introduction to the sale of land tracts using Freedom/Open Forum bidding, including options for sellers to present land for sale by division of large tracts into smaller parcels (providing options for individual buyers to compete against developers and  investors) and to increase sale price to achieve fair market value or more for sellers.  Learn to identify sellers whose needs would best be met by using the Multi-Parcel Auction Method, to compile the documents necessary to protect the seller, to plan a marketing campaign and to assist sellers and buyers through auction day to closing.  Learn ways to offer more options for buyer participation including internet and absentee bidding.
